A note on strings: Most services require a fresh set. Bring your own or choose from our in-house selection of Stringjoy and D'Addario. Bass strings are often reusable — We’ll go with your preference.

The Journeyman Setup
Full setup including a fresh restring — neck relief, action, pickup height, intonation, fret polish, fingerboard conditioning, hardware check, and pot cleaning. The works.

Pickups & Parts

K&K Pure Mini Pickups are available in-house and ready to install. It is my opinion there is no finer passive system for capturing the natural sound of an acoustic guitar.

We are also an authorized dealer for Fralin Pickups and Nordstrand — both made entirely to order. Fralin has been hand winding pickups in Richmond, VA for over 30 years. Nordstrand covers electric and bass pickups, preamps, and more with the same level of care. We keep a working stock of common parts on hand — pots, jacks, switches, and more sourced from Allparts. Most standard repairs can be completed in a single visit without waiting on parts. Less downtime for your guitar, faster turnaround for you.
